About the Author

Nadejda Reilly was born and raised in Ukraine by two loving, humble, gifted, and hard working Christian parents. She came to the United States of America in her early twenties. On her life journey and quest for her identity in Jesus Christ, she pursued several careers, including mechanical and chemical engineering, nursing, and hospitality management. She acquired Associate Degree in Science, Food Service and Hotel Management, from NVCC, as well as Bachelor Degree in Science, Individualized Studies, from Charter Oak State College. After her graduation, she worked as the Food Quality Control for the Perdue Farms Inc., as well as an Assistant Manager for the Wal-Mart Stores Inc. For a little while she owned and operated catering and restaurant businesses where she prepared and served Authentic Ukrainian food. During that journey and her closer walk with God, she discovered that hospitality, especially, cooking, baking, and serving people is her God's given gift and as His servant she needs to use it to glorify Him and His Kingdom. So writing her cook books and incorporating that gift in them is her way of glorifying and thanking Jesus for His faithfulness and support, as well as blessing others for His Kingdom."

Ukrainian Cuisine with an American Touch and Ingredients (Gluten-Free) is a great portal into the heart of Ukrainian tradition and cooking. It is filled with an abundance of recipes as well insight to Nadejda's heritage and Christian background.

My husband is of Ukrainian decent and loves the traditional ethnic foods he grew up eating. This cookbook provides a great resource to be able to make all the foods he loves gluten-free. Nadejda has composed a great variety of delicious recipes from tempting entrees to mouth-watering desserts.

The ingredients for most of the recipes are readily available in most grocery stores. I recommend this cookbook to anyone who enjoys trying new recipes and delicious ethnic foods.

Couldn't believe that I found Ukrainian recipes gluten free. Bought this for a relative who has gluten allergies. Now she can enjoy her perogies!

I really enjoyed reading this book. I enjoyed the history in the book. The recipes are wonderful and easy to understand. I also liked all the helpful and safety hints.
