You will find all the Ukrainian dance hall standards on this great CD. Here are the obligatory hopak, zaporozhets, arkan, kolomyjka, and the kozatchok. Guaranteed to liven up that church fundraiser, your trendy ethnic wedding, or a wekend getaway at "Soyuzivka" in the Catskills. Entertaining and fun. It will make you homesick for your grandmother's pyrohy, varennyky and holubtsi.

I have a guilty pleasure for this out-of-the-ordinary (to me, anyway) type of music and I simply ADORE listening to the Hutzulka on this CD. If you ask me, all the songs are excellent, even if they're short, but sweet. So, if you enjoyed many of the 30 second clips and are willing to spend some money, this is a good product to purchase. Five stars from a happy customer!
