I started out a while back with Photoimpact 4.2, and I've tried others. Ulead's 7th version of Photoimpact is a honey of a program. The layout is very convenient and much faster getting around to the different editing functions than Photoshop 7. I have a slow and outdated pc, so it's not as quick to start up like Photoimpact 6. PI-7 is really a fine product.

Ulead's PhotoImpact series is one of the best on the market! It seriously competes with Photoshop, gives MANY tubes, objects, brushes, templates and won't break your wallet!
Photo-manipulation is easy, intuitive buttons & commands, exceptional output and is not only a terrific program for beginners but advanced users as well. This program allows you to use plug-ins from nearly every other program out there. I've used many photo-editing programs and none of them come close to this one. Please check their website to see examples and download a demo; it's really worth it. It's my all-time favorite for all my projects, web-designs, scrapbooks and more! ~Chryssy |
