5.0 out of 5 stars ULTERIOR MOTIVE
I want to take this opportunity to say thank you all for the love and support you've shown me over the years and I hope you will continue to enjoy what I do.
Unfortunately, the description on the back cover on copies of Ulterior Motive and the one posted on some web sites is incorrect. I offer my humble apology to you all for this error.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent
Well, I just finished reading Ulterior Motive and even though it was worth my time, it's my least favorite from Roy. It just didn't have that adrenalin factor to keep me wanting to see what happened next. Plus, I felt some scenarios went unexplored. Like when Aleena told her dad what Gary was up to, then when Garrett got with Gary to see what was going on with him and the...

Unfortunately, the description on the back cover on copies of Ulterior Motive and the one posted on some web sites is incorrect. I offer my humble apology to you all for this error.
The correct description of the book is as follows:
While he is forced to deal with personal issues of his own, Attorney Marcus Douglas is hired by Angela Pettybone, an old college friend who called out of the blue saying that she needed his help. Angela was his best-friends girlfriend in college, but Marcus was in love with her and the feelings are still there. Angela had just been questioned by the police in the death of Stephanie Covey, her boss, Robert Covey's wife. Marcus realizes that there is more going on when the body count rises and they all are connected to Angela and Robert. Now Marcus must unravel the twisted details, and keep his personal feelings for her from clouding his objectivity if he is going to keep his old friend from going to jail.
I hope that you will enjoy Ulterior Motive.
Much love

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent, January 3, 2011

Well, I just finished reading Ulterior Motive and even though it was worth my time, it's my least favorite from Roy. It just didn't have that adrenalin factor to keep me wanting to see what happened next. Plus, I felt some scenarios went unexplored. Like when Aleena told her dad what Gary was up to, then when Garrett got with Gary to see what was going on with him and the rest of the family, Gary almost snitched on Aleena and what she was up to, but never did. I kinda wanted to know what she was up to lol..

Plus the ending didn't sit well with me either. I thought there was a lot of unfinished business with Ms. Pettybone

For me, a good analogy of this book would be a dull roller-coaster ride that's steadily inclining, but the descend makes it all worth it.

Next up- No More Tears in the end.
