Hygrades Ultimate Poly-Tarps feature heavy-duty polyethylene reinforced by a dense 12 x 14 weaved core for superior strength and durability. Corner reinforcement bars, heat sealed seams, rust proof grommets, and a rope reinforced hem give these tarps 90 percent greater strength than regular tarps. Maximum UV absorbers increase sun and fade resistance. Water proof, mildew proof, and rot proof. Green on top and black on bottom.

I live in South Florida and have a large awning in my side yard. The tarp that had been tied over the awning when I bought the house was destroyed in Hurrican Wilma, and I bought this to replace it.

It was destroyed within two months. The grommets were ripped out at one corner, and the stitching that had kept them in then unravelled. I understand that mine is a rather heavy duty job for a tarp, as the winds lift the tarp as they whip through the awning, but that's why I wanted heavy duty, which again is how this was advertised.

I have purchased a canvas tarp to try to solve the problem.

Item was as described otherwise and arrived promptly.
