This kit is a very good value. The Flip products are pretty rugged, but it's still a good idea to have a hard case. the HDMI cables make it possible to watch your videos on your HDTV set and it's always a good idea to have a power adapter handy. The tripod is good enough for many functions. All in all, you'd be wise to add this to your purchase if you are buying a Flip Video - especially if you are getting the new Flip SlideHD.

See how good the HD quality is of some of the videos I made using the older Flip HD camcorder at my blog, []. I highly recommend the Flip Video products and accessories.

Very misleading. This kit did not come with a case making it a very poor value for your money. I'm highly disappointed.
