The ultimate collection are songs put together by another performer who is a fan.In her career, ANITA O'DAY had many ups and down, but she can be sure her fans did not forget her personal approach to songs like TEA FOR TWO or all the RODGERS AND HART or COLE PORTER songs present here.If we enjoy ANITA's singing ,its because she likes to take chances and nobody really scats like her.ANITA O'DAY deserves her place as one of the true great jazz singers ,and we are proud of the fact that she has not retired

The quality of these recordings, not to mention the incredible arrangements will leave you in a deeply happy place with every listen. Anita O'Day, needless to say, but just for those who do not yet know, is a Master of Vocals, of rhythmic phrasing and of musicality. If you like Sarah V, Ella F and the staples, try this - Anita O was a colourful gal, and you can hear it in each and every swinging note.
