This works on my FC Twin NES/SNES Console... I bought this to play the old arcade games that are really made to be played with a joystick . Works great with Ms Pacman, Donkey Kong and Burgertime..

A good replacement for the old super nintendo arcade joystick, whose buttons had a tendency to stick. So far the buttons on this new replacement do not stick.

This controller is made by the same guys that made the SNES Advantage controller, and just like the SNES advantage, this one is also licensed by Nintendo. Unlike the SNES advantage, however, this thing actually has a good design.
The button layout is exactly the same as the Capcom Power Stick Fighter, a similar accessory released by Capcom for Street Fighter II. This button layout is L/X/R on top of Y/B/A, which seems a little odd, but it turns out that it's a great button layout. Of course, it's no good for Street Fighter II's default controls, but you can change your controls in that game, so it's no big deal. One thing that's really cool is that the layout is perfect for Star Fox, control type A. My only complaint of the layout is the positioning of the Start/Select buttons, which is a little awkward at first, but this really is no big deal and you get used to it pretty fast. The joystick is great. It is designed to be like Japanese arcade sticks, with a ball on top. It is very responsive and... well, great. Honestly, it's an absolutely perfect 8-way digital joystick. No complaints at all. The buttons are great quality, making the NES advantage look like a cheap piece of junk. Unlike the NES Advantage buttons, these ones don't stick when you press on the edges, and yet they're still just as large. I'm unable to compare the button quality to the Super Advantage, having never owned a Super Advantage, but I can tell you that the buttons feel excellent. Of course, what would an arcade-style joystick be without turbo? Each button (excluding the Start/Select buttons) has a Turbo switch which can be adjusted to Off, Turbo, or Auto. Turbo is standard turbo, and Auto is turbo when the button is released. There is also a slider to the left of the buttons for adjusting turbo speed, although for most games this is best set to max. Finally, there's the Slow Motion switch, which attempts to slow down the game by putting the Start button on autofire (which, on most games, causes the game to be paused and unpaused repeatedly). I actually found slow-motion to be surprisingly helpful, albeit a little annoying-sounding, on Street Fighter II single player mode. I have found one small fault with the controller: the buttons are pretty loud. Truthfully, though, this has no noticeable effect when playing a game, since the noise tends to be suppressed by the game. In any case, if it's bothering you, you can grab a pair of noise-canceling headphones to solve the problem. Overall, I would definitely recommend this controller to anyone with a SNES and/or SNES to USB adapter. Despite being rather old, having been released in 1993, there are still a good amount of never-before-opened (i.e., "new") controllers available, at least at the time of this writing. Get them while you can, because they won't last forever.
