Bought this bank so our 3 year old Granddaughter can see how money grows when you save even a little bit at a time. She LOVES the process of putting in the coins which we save all week for her in a bowl. We have talked about what we will do when the bank is full, as we are about half way there now the discussions have been wonderful. Watching the coins add up on the digital counter has been fun for us all!

I bought this as a Christmas gift from a different merchant. It lasted from December 26, 2010 to April 3, 2011. It no longer "counts" the coins. New batteries didn't solve the problem...It was fun while it lasted, but basically it was a waste of money.

This looks and feels very cheap. The system to count the coins does not work. I would not recommend it.
