One of my favorite outdoor living books
I don't really disagree with the 2 star review. This is not a book full of pictures of random stuff from Target/JoAnn's Fabric that people have decorated their backyard with. This is a book full of innovated design and construction ideas. Will my backyard ever look like ony of these? Probably not. Was I truely inspired? Oh yah. This is just a gorgeous book and...

Ultimate Backyard
I personally was disappointed in the book. It is more for someone who has a background in architecture. I was hopeing it was more for what I call "suzy Q homemaker"!. However, my friend has an architecture background and I gave it to her and she just LOVED IT!!!!!!! For the everyday small backyard garden I felt it was too costly to do and above what my needs were...

I don't really disagree with the 2 star review. This is not a book full of pictures of random stuff from Target/JoAnn's Fabric that people have decorated their backyard with. This is a book full of innovated design and construction ideas. Will my backyard ever look like ony of these? Probably not. Was I truely inspired? Oh yah. This is just a gorgeous book and actually interesting to read and look at. I highly recommend it for anyone starting their backyard project.
