Become surprisingly stronger by doing just two exercises with the Ultimate Body Press Dip Stand.

Dips are superior to push-ups because they use your entire bodyweight for resistance. Bodyweight Rows like pull-ups are a fantastic exercise for your back and shoulders. Used together you get a balanced, challenging and effective workout from one machine.

You will hit the ball harder, be stronger on the court, and if you care about this sort of thing, you are going to have a bigger chest and bigger arms so you'll look better with your shirt off.

I found this exercise machine to be an excellent purchase. Cleverly designed, small footprint, stable. I did have some difficulty assembling it because the locking pins weren't aligned very well, but once it was all together, it worked great.

Pros:
Takes up little space
Lightweight
Allows me to do Dips and a form of Pull Ups

Cons:
More expensive than it should be - this should really be a 50 buck item, not 100
Was a pain to put together - I've read other reviews saying the same thing. When I started putting it together I thought this isn't as difficult as they said it would be. That was until I tried to fit the last tube together. I had to strain pretty hard to finally get it together, but it took a lot of taking apart and attempting to complete putting it together again. I don't think I'll ever plan on taking this apart again.
Rocks a little while doing dips.
May be too short for taller people - I'm 5'10" and when I dip down my knees sometimes touch the ground, and I'm keeping my elbows slightly less than a 90 degree angle. I'd think if you were 6', you wouldn't be able to do the complete dip.

Overall, does what I bought it to do, but a little expensive for what you get.

This device does what it says it will do. Its easy to put together due to the color coding and its very stable. I like that its light, so I can move it from upstairs or downstairs very easily. Delivery was fast and efficient (two days after ordering) and the company was very pleasant on the phone.

The only criticisms I have is that the handout that comes with the machine is of low quality. The drawing of the constructed machine is a top view, which is sort of confusing. Also, it doesn't give clear instructions on how to adjust its width or on how to take it apart for storage. It seems to me for storing its in two separate pieces that lay on one another...which could lead to a lot of scratching of the product. I've only had this for one day...and I'm sure I'll figure out how to store it, but clearer instructions would be nice.

These are really very minor criticisms. If you like to do dips, this is a great machine for you. You get exactly what is advertised...an easily constructed, lightweight, device that is stable and well crafted.

Full disclosure -- I have no connection with the company that makes this item. That said, this is one of the best exercise-related products I've ever bought, and it's well worth the (very modest) price. It has no moving parts to break or wear out, the metal tubing is solid under my weight (about 175#), and it takes up very little room. Between the dips and the body-weight rowing exercise, one could construct a quick and effective upper body workout around this stand. It does take a little muscle to put together, since the tension on the pieces is part of what holds it together, but that contributes to its stability. Very pleased with this product.

I have neither the space nor the bucks for parallel bars so wanted an inexpensive alternative and saw this. If you're like me, you read the one, two and three star reviews first, to understand the draw backs. Let me tell you, the low star reviews of this product are completely bogus. One guy says it doesn't "fold." No, it doesn't fold. You press two buttons and you can take it apart. Another fellow claims he could build it, himself. If he can, he should go into business. This is a solid, handsome, simple piece of equipment made of steel construction that snaps together. It allows you to do chin ups, body dips, stomach crunches, and other parallel bar exercises in a confined space. You can easily pack it and transport it in a car. It goes together and comes apart in seconds. It is strong, comfortable, easy to use, and easier to store than a set of barbells or most other types of exercise apparatus. I could not be happier with this purchase.

The ultimate body press is the answer for anyone who does not want to buy huge, expensive workout stations. The UBP is easy to put together: All one has to do is connect the parts (all labeled with corresponding colors) to each other. Yes, the UBP can be wobbly but you can easily fix this by adjusting the four rubber feet on the bottom. The UBP is stronger than I thought it would be and I'm more than sure it can hold the claimed 300lbs limit. I have done many sets of dips, reverse pull ups, and leg raises with the UBP. These are exercises I have been wanting to do in my home without having to buy a towering pull-up/dip bar station. Performing dips on the UBP is worth the price alone. Nothing beats the upper body workout the UBP can give you for the price. Buy it, use it, get big, toned triceps!!
