Great book,

I love this book. I have completed two of the afghans with very pleasing results. They use up a lot of scrap wool. The only thing now is that I have to buy more wool to do more crochet.

Great patterns - bright colors,

Fun little book for the person who wants to get creative with colors and "scrap" yarn - although buying a bunch of colorful skeins of yarn is certainly an option as well!
Classic patterns that could be tailored to many or a few different colors. Check it out!

Great way to use up those scraps,

This is a great way to use up those scraps of yarn every knitter/crocheter seems to accumulate in her "stash".
I had this book lying around for a while until I noticed that I was being overrun with little odds and ends of yarn that weren't big enough for large projects but too much to just throw away. So I looked through the pages and decided to make the "Pressed Flowers" one. It came out gorgeous. Then time went by and I accumulated more yarn scraps. Again, another "Pressed Flowers" (only this time in a smaller size) and I have a kid's afghan in bright, fun colors. I did try another pattern...the "Barefoot Summer Days", but for some reason I couldn't understand the directions, which seemed somewhat unclear...and so I stopped working on it and went on to something else. Perhaps at some point I'll go back and try to decipher the directions again and complete it. So I'm currently working on another afghan from a different book and when I realized I was going to have lots of scraps left over when I'm finished, I went searching for this book and sadly thought I had lost it someplace and I'd have to buy another, but it was only misplaced....whew!!!! Lots of people are going to get nice warm afghans for Christmas this year. :)

DREAM book!,

There are 20 super afghans to make here -- a spectacular array of creative inspiration that is sure to make you pull out your hook and get to work.
You can use the leftovers you have at home, or buy some extra skeins of this-or-that to make the creative statement that you want to portray. In my opinion, this book is luscious. You can spend hours just dreaming about how you would make any or all of these patterns your own!
