I stumbled across this CD in a store several years ago, and have never regretted my decision to purchase it. While the CD is marketed with labels from various Oldies stations on it (most notably WCBS 101.1FM from New York City), it is actually produced by a little-known company called Collectables Records, and they have done an excellent job compiling this CD. Full of classic songs like "The Christmas Song" and "Christmas Vacation" (the one made famous in the movie of the same name), as well as quirky tunes such as "Jingle Bells" by the Jingle Dogs (obviously created by someone with just a little too much time on their hands...) and fun songs like "Chrissy the Christmas Mouse", there's something for everyone on this CD. The best part is, they crammed the music on this disc - 77 minutes and 24 seconds long with 22 songs. If you like Christmas music, you should definitely buy this. I also recommend checking out the other volumes in this collection. I've got volumes 1 and 4 as well, and will add others at some point.

Just what I wanted. In great shape and arrived in plenty of time for Christmas, after a gentle nudging of the seller. Couldn't be happier!

Great mix of classic songs and excellent quality. I've looked all over for "Christmas Vacation" by Mavis Staples. This song was on this album.

This album covers the many decades of Holiday songs for everyone to enjoy.Older people and younger people will appreciate the classics as well as some songs we forgot about. Many of these songs take you back when the Holidays meant more than they do today.

Christmas Vacation is from the movie of the same name. It's Christmas Everywhere and Chrissy the Christmas Mouse are hard to find songs. I always loved Eartha Kitt's Santa Baby. Not too many people can make a Christmas song that steams up the windows. Perry Como's Home For The Holidays is the single version with the horns at the beginning. Fred Waring's The Night Before Christmas is an edited version, it picks in in the middle of the song where Santa is already in the house. Fred Waring is the guy who created the Waring blender, by the way.

Nat's Christmas Song and Bing's White Christmas are also on this disc. Larry Chance, the Ventures, the Singing Dogs, Jose Feliciano, Lou Christie, Dion, Andy Williams, the Impressions, Percy Faith and Ray Charles are also featured. A great collection to add to yours. There's something for everybody here.

This is just a great cd. It is also one of the only cd's that has one of my favorite christmas songs: "Christmas Vacation" by Mavis Staples.
