I love collecting compilation CDs, but I don't buy very many because most fail to meet my expectations. I bought this one for several reasons. One: it contains 18 songs, which is a lot more than most compilations. No skimping on songs here! :) Two: it contains a majority of songs that are fast and truly get you into the toe-tapping, boot-scooting mood. I happen to be a line dancer so I especially like these selections. And finally, I like this CD because it has a good variety of songs from groups as well as solo artists, men as well as women.

My only critique is that some of the transitions between songs were very choppily done, such as one song starting right on the heels of another without a break. The transition between tracks 14 and 15 is the best (worst?) example: they completely cut off the end of Trace Adkins' "This Ain't No Thinkin Thing." But overall, I would definitely recommend this CD to any fans of "hot country" music. You will get lots of enjoyment from it.

Not having a background in Country music, I was looking for something that would sample recent trends in the genre for a party I was having. I must say the playlist is a lot of fun and many of the tracks are clever and witty, both musically and lyrically. We all had a good time.

I'm not a big country music fan, but one of my kids got this as a gift and after listening once we were hooked. This is an awesome collection of getcha goin feel good country tunes. Our 1st one started skipping from so much use, we've been looking all over for a replacement. I'll buy 2 just in case!

IF YOU LOVE COUNTRY YOU'LL LOVE THIS CD

This CD is great, awesome songs with great artists. It can add a little fun to any party. All of my favortie songs by great artists and all on one CD, what more could you ask for?

I highly recommend this CD for someone who desires some kick butt country music. All songs are quick tempod and will provide excellent music for a party or a swift run on the tread mill.

This is a wonderful collection of high energy country songs for dancing and listening enjoyment!! My friends & I are practicing our 2-step dancing and line dancing to these great songs and we never have to change the CD!

A more upbeat album than some of the more recent collections in this series

I am a Country fan so enjoyed this CD very much it flows into each track well. Good listening for dancing or driving in the car.
