A perfect opportunity to exploit UNMIXED, FULL LENGTH versions, and Water Music Dance blew it--and they don't even seem to have enough quality tracks to offer. With each disc running not even an hour, it's really insulting to find so many short versions--they easily could have squeezed in at least 4 more FULL LENGTH club mixes--and better promoted their own releases at the same time. With a mix of funk, electro and disco house, there are only a couple of standout tracks, and personally, those are the ones I would have liked to have had LONG versions of, particularly the awesome cover of Prince's "controversy". Also note that several of these songs come in alternate mixes on the Water Dance release "Best Dance Album Ever".

1. trippin on sunshine (original)...pizzaman (6:50) (latin house feel with a kind of light techno riff--you'd swear it was 1992 all over again)
2. never ever (housetrap mix)...tom tom le chevalier (3:45) (light disco house--female vocal)
3. Just like that (Jason nevins radio edit)...amber (3:39) (HOW can you put an edit with a dance combo like Amber and Jason Nevins??? Pick up her CD single for the full length mix)
4. Feel 4 me...2 small (2:58) (catchy male vocal--light electro/disco house)
5. it's my life (love to infinity mix)...freeze factory (3:58) (blech. Did we really need another cover of the Talk Talk classic? This is a mousy female vocal with a disco house feel)
6. Controversy (housetrap mix)...future tiny wave (3:23) (HOT dark funky house mix of Prince classic, with female vocals. Want the LONG version!)
7. Gotta let you go...limelight (5:22) (funky electro bassline hook and repetitive female vocals--this shorter version was a better choice this time--just long enough)
8. spellbound (22 green club mix)...sherrie lea (10:47) (FINALLY, a super long full length mix. A nice peak anthem by Sherrie Lea)
9. Funkytown...dave lambert vs. elektrokid (3:39) (wow this is lame. A barely remixed version of the original Lipps Inc version--minus any of the vocal. Truly hokey novelty.)
10. Ignite my fantasy (south beach mix)...platinum girls (4:17) (bland, light house with super commercial female vocals and catchy chorus)
11. give me rhythm (full intention mix)...black connection (3:33) (gospel house vocals, disco influenced. Catchy and upbeat, but not very interesting)
12. here I go (dside club mix)...dside (6:28) (A catchy melody, a sort of alternative female vocal, and an electro feel with a guitar riff and some robotic vocal backgrounds. One of the best tracks on CD1, along with "controversy")

CD2

1. shining star (sunset strippers mix)...pate no. 1 (3:43) (great female vocal, with a great electro synth riff)
2. Playboy bunny (uniting nations mix)...olinda (3:03) (eek! Barbie Girl anyone?)
3. always (Robbie rivera juicy summer mix)...pate no. 1 (7:33) (funky disco house with minimal vocal. Typical Rivera mix. Either you like it or you don't)
4. Upside down...new generation (2:59) (Painful cheesy disco house cover of Diana Ross classic)
5. Russian girls (denis naidanov mix)...sasha dith (3:12) (very euro electro. Personally, I found the female and male vocals annoying)
6. Secret garden (brother brown mix)...ortz (3:45) (floaty female vocal and pulsing bassline, but a clunky rhythm track, not house)
7. I've got this feeling...con amore (7:00) (moody female vocal with a dark funky bassline)
8. Come dance...freeloader (3:05) (airy soft female vocal trance)
9. Summerdaze...sugartape (8:22) (electro house with a heavy bassline, guitar riff, and loads of robotic voices. Eight minutes is a bit too much of this track)
10. Detroit...pascal defoe (5:31) (airy instrumental house track. Yawn.)
11. It's just funky (beatchuggers mix)...rose (7:42) (blech. Sounds like a really bad early 1970s soul song remixed into disco house. Obnoxious)
12. pacific 202...perfect 10 (5:54) (great thumpin electro house--but it's an instrumental with a saxophone or something carrying the melody. WHAT a clash of interests!)
