Ultimate Sounds for Any Lifestyle
metro.fi 2

If you are a fashion-conscious, active commuter who wants to get better sound from your MP3 player or iPod than you’re getting with your player’s stock headphones, the metro.fi 2 was made for you. It gives you a full spectrum of sound in a stylish in-ear design that incorporates a universal fit kit to maximize your comfort and minimize the noise around you. The passive noise-isoloating design that blocks out 16 dB of ambient noise, while the titanium-coated speaker and proprietary audio filters devlier a full, "punchy" sound. The metro.fi 2 series is perfect for those looking for an entry-level step up from their portable audio player's stock headphones.
super.fi 3

The super.fi 3 Studio earphones give you studio-quality sound in a unique in-ear design that incorporates pro-style ear loops to keep your earphones in place and a universal fit kit. The super.fi 3 studio also seals your ear canal like the metro.fi 2 but it blocks even more noise because the internal speaker is different. The super.fi 3 studio incorporates a proprietary balanced armature driver--the same technology found in hearing aids. Instead of pushing air to generate sound waves like your home speakers, a balanced armature is a coil that vibrates like a guitar sting. A balanced armature driver gives you distortion-free, full-range audio clarity while the in-ear design provides up to 26 dB of noise isolation for clearer sonic detail. The super.fi 3 series is a great intoduction to true audiophile headphones for those who are looking to get more out of their portable player.
super.fi 5 Pro EB

For those who need a little more low-end response, the super.fi 5 Pro EBs deliver the same professional-grade sound, noise isolation, and superb form factor as other earphones in the super.fi line, but with an increased bass sensitivity for deep and driving beats. Precise audio filters and an encapsulated diaphragm subwoofer ensure that the bass stays tight and distortion-free, never muddy. The super.fi 5 series' dual-driver technology makes these earphones ideal for studio-grade acoustic performance while delivering an increased "thump" for those who like to really feel their music. Includes a metallic travel case.
super.fi 5 Pro

The super.fi 5 Pros are the closest you can get to the same professional-grade stage monitors custom-made by Ultimate Ears for stars like The Killers, Incubus, and Linkin Park. Experience superior full-range sound, thanks to audio filters that shape the sound for maximum detail, plus passive crossovers that directs music to two different drivers for precise audio reproduction: one large balanced armature driver for clear, non-muddy lows, and one precision balanced armature for detailed mids and highs. Includes a metallic travel case.
triple.fi 10 Pro

If the super.fi 5 series feels like being a musician in the studio, the limited edition triple.fi 10 series is like being a professional sound engineer. If you want to hear every possible nuance and musical layer, then you need the triple.fi 10 Pro earphones. These earphones offer the most detailed and sonically rich experience humanly possible when listening to any style of music--when a guitarist slides their fingers along the strings or when a singer exhales, you will hear every detail. The triple.fi 10 Pro series is Ultimate Ears' latest technological breakthrough and the only professional earphone product with three separate drivers--one for accurate bass, one for the critical vocal midrange, and one for crystal-clear highs. These earphones also incorporate all the best features that Ultimate Ears universal products have to offer including pro-style ear loops that secure your earphones in place and a universal fit kit--plus a distinctive metallic blue finish truly separates you from the pack. The triple.fi 10 Pro’s also come with a metallic protective travel case, sound attenuator and ¼" adaptor jack. Now your head is a world class recording studio. But don’t take our word for it – hear the difference for yourself!

I'm a self-professed headphone junkie. And, while I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile, I do have a BFA in music so I have a pretty well-developed ear. That being said, these earphones reveal details I've never heard in songs I've listened to a thousand times.

Before buying these, I used the Super.Fi 5 Pros for about two years and I loved them. Then, I bought the Shure SE530 based on all the glowing reviews I had read. They were very comfortable and cooler looking that the phones from Ultimate Ears, but their rolled-off highs (or as some like to say, their "warm" sound) just made me long for the sparkle of my trusty Super.Fis. The Triple.Fis are a huge step-up from either--you get the sparkling highs of the Super.Fis and the clean, enhanced bass of the Shures.

To my ear, these provide the best sound I've ever heard from a headphone--period. I would have bought these at twice the price. Highly recommended!!!

I do not actually own these headphones, however I am currently at war with myself about spending $400, which I can not afford, on new IEM's. The reason for this battle is my trip to MacWorld in January. I was able to spend some serious time traveling from booth to booth, listening to various headphones. I have owned a pair of etymotic 6i's for almost 2 years, and have been pleased with their sound quality, I tried several Shure models and some of the lower UE models as-well, and concluded that they are all among the best sounding headphones I have ever used. but then I had the opportunity to listen to the UE 10's. There is no way to describe the difference in sound other than space. Every IEM I have tried sounds like a good pair of headphones except the UE 10's which sound like something else entirely. Standing in that noisy room, with my eyes closed listening to Bramfatura on my friends ipod. I felt separate from the world in a way that I have never before experienced. It was almost as if it were just me and the guitar player in a small sound studio. I have no delusions about the quality of an iPod amplifier, and i can only imagine what a airhead or other quality amp would do with these. But they talk about being able to hear the musician breath, the fingers move on the fret-board, and the foot tap in the back of the studio. You can, even with the cheep iPod amp, you hear every nuance and the sound fills a space that as of yet only these headphones have been able to create for me. So I debate, pondering weather spending that $400 dollars is worth owning the nearly religious experience these cans deliver. If you can afford them get them, and if you can't afford them, try anyway. It is worth it.

Hi everyone. This is the story of how I came to own the magnificent UE Triple.fi 10 Pro headphones.

About a year and a half ago, I purchased a pair of Super.fi 5 Pro headphones from Guitar Center; I loved these headphones - They were comfortable and gave me great sound on all types of music. My only complaint about the Super.fi was their build quality - I had to RMA the super.fis after about 6 months and then a year later, I had to call UE back for a second RMA number. When speaking to UE about my 2nd RMA, I mentioned to them that I really wanted to "upgrade" to the triple.fi's, but the rep told me that this was not possible. A few days later, I called UE back and spoke to the rep again and mentioned that I was not too excited about having my headphones replaced with the same model that had already failed on me twice within a year. She said that the triple.fi were not yet available, but that she could "hold onto" my super.fi's until they became available...at which time, she would call me back and I could pay the price difference between the super.fi's and the triple.fi's. I then asked when the triple.fis would be available and she said sometime in March. I grumbled a little and asked how this was possible considering that the triple.fi's were showing as "in stock" on amazon. She said that the amazon lot were the only ones left and offered to credit my card once she received my RMA shipment so that I could go ahead and order the triple.fi's from amazon. I was thrilled...I order the trips from amazon on Monday and opted for 2 day shipping. The package arrived on Wednesday as planned. I opened the package and to my shock and dismay, the Roadie case was empty...no headphones, no accesssories, no owners manual.

Originally I purchased super.fi 5 Pro EB, and loved them (they were a bit bass heavy, but thats to be expected the eb stands for extended bass). They were stolen, and so I decided to upgrade to the triple fi's. I love em. I use them on stage for monitors playing at my church. The seal is excellent (especially with the comply tips) comfort is good. But the sound is amazing. Even, clear highs and the strong bass presence, with out being over powering, they also work great for music listening, and my iphone has no trouble driving them. My favorite feature is the replaceable cables, one of the drummers at church uses them and he was mowing the lawn and killed the cord, $20 and he was back in business. I've killed so many pair of cheapo buds and phones because of crappy cables. I've got nothing bad to say about them!
