For anyone starting out in the business, this is a convenient, nice looking piece of equipment. I purchased it as a gift for one of my employees as he is not yet laden with dozens of knives and a variety of equipment. However, for someone like myself, its use is limited--I would use it for traveling (off-site catering, cooking demonstrations), but the bulk of my tools remain in a $10 toolbox.

If you work somewhere that requires you to take your equipment home daily, I would recommend this as a good place to start.
