5.0 out of 5 stars A great event
What a great night of fights. Some of the fights have really exciting endings, while others are just great back and forth battles. I will not give any spoilers, but
My favorite fights were probably:
Keith Jardine vs Brandon Vera
Shane Carwin vs Neil Wan
and
Rameau Sokodojou vs Luis Cane
Totally worth every penny. I would recommend it to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Far from great, but its okay
This event featured some fights that had the potential to be really really awesome fights. The only one that is worth watching twice is the Paul Taylor vs Chris Lytle fight. That fight was awesome!

Too bad it set us up for a long night of poor performances and decisions. Luiz Cane vs Sokoudjou was a pretty good fight but Soko just looked like crap(I guess...

Too bad it set us up for a long night of poor performances and decisions. Luiz Cane vs Sokoudjou was a pretty good fight but Soko just looked like crap(I guess Cane is just that good though). Vera vs Jardine let everyone down in so many ways. Basically you got 2 guys coming off bad performances, Jardine with his highlight of Wanderlei Silva knocking him out cold and Vera coming off a lackluster win over Reese Andy and 2 losses to Tim Sylvia/Fabricio Werdum. So you would think both this guys would come out and try to prove something that they are still here to stay and are better then ever(and they even said it in the pre-fight interviews)....well this fight showed everything but that. I don't see either of these guys getting anywhere near the belt.

UFC 89 features a main event between Michael Bisping and Chris Leben. Bisping, coming off 2 big wins at his new weight class(middleweight) looks to take out Chris The Crippler Leben. Not the greatest of main events, probably shouldn't even have been a co-main event, but it was live in his hometown in England so the UFC tried to make them happy I guess.

Pre-lims include:
Welterweight bout: Akihiro Gono vs. Dan Hardy
Heavyweight bout: Shane Carwin vs. Neil Wain
Lightweight bout: Jess Liaudin vs. David Bielkheden
Lightweight bout: Sam Stout vs. Terry Etim
Lightweight bout: David Baron vs. Jim Miller
Lightweight bout: Samy Schiavo vs. Per Eklund
