This book is exactly what I was looking for and I am thrilled that I was able to find it. The section on competitive fishing really shines. It explains the experience from the point of view of a real tournament champion, Tony Ballay, a carpenter from Chicago and a true sportsman. I particularly enjoyed reading about his experiences because aside from all his accomplishment on the water, he is a regular working man who works a regular job all week. If you are looking for a book that covers a broad spectrum of the fishing experience, you have found it here. That is if there are any copies left. It might be time for an updated edition. Thanks Amazon.
