This is a very good series. I am a big fan of foreign tv. I was impressed with the actors/actresses, plots, and storylines. There is also has a lot of action and situational humor along with adequate (but not too much) character development. Each episode was like a movie,so in a sense this was like a long miniseries. There is at least 20 hours of viewing. It was unfortunate that this series suffered low ratings while it was on primetime on ITV. If you are a fan of The Unit you will love this series. I have all 4 seasons of The Unit, and Ultimate Force is far more interesting and seems like it was an overall better production. Although the characters change throughout the series, it is still worth watching. Unlike hollywood, foreign series kill off main characters unexpectedly, but since foreign series don't fixate on one character the show continues. I think another reason that foreign DVDs are region coded is that hollywood would not want Americans to know that there are more entertaining productions abroad.

This British show is so much better than The Unit. The acting and scripts are wonderful. I can't add much more than the first reviewer except do yourself a favor and get this series !
