My eight year old son loved playing with the Ultimate Fossils kit. The picture guide helped him identify and learn about the various fossils. He's been learning about fossils in school and this kit was a great way for him to start his own collection. He said the fossils we're even cooler then the ones his teacher had. We were very impressed with the specimens in this kit.

WARNING - for those like me who in looking at various mining for fossils, dinosaurs, gems, etc digging kits, might order this kit assuming it is one of the same. This is NOT a digging kit. It is just a bunch of small fossils. Great for the kid who is interested in fossils, not great for the kid who is interested in excavating for fossils.
