Where has this book been for the last 10 years of my marriage! I found some awesome ideas for giving gifts but the best idea was giving a copy of the book to my husband, who I have stayed with despite his last few Valentine's Day "gifts". Ladies, get this in his hands and you will NOT be unwrapping a kitchen appliance this Christmas!!!

My sister is a huge baseball (Derek Jeter) fan and often goes to games with her husband. I made her a baseball lover's gift basket and put a few of the items from the homemade gift basket list like: Baby Ruth candy bar, sunscreen, disposable rain poncho, Wrigley's chewing gum, baseball stress ball, beverage insulator, a few bottles of beer, Peanuts and Cracker Jacks, Mounds candy bar - She got the biggest kick out of it. I also included a "Mrs. Jeter" t-shirt suggested under the baseball fan's fun gifts. I think she will always remember this gift. This is a great book; very clever ideas.

What a find! I was always struggling with new ideas for client gifts and dreaded having to think of something new on every gift giving occasion. The Ultimate Guide has not only made it easier, but now I actually look forward to an opportunity to show off my newly found creative and thoughtful side. No matter who you're shopping for... or what the occasion, there are a multitude of clever ideas to choose from. This well organized, comprehensive guide is a must-have for busy people.

After looking through this book I was pleasantly surprised. What great ideas! My favorite is the fun gifts to pick from. I will be getting my daughter who has 3 dogs the coffee mug that reads: Everything taste better with dog hair in it. Seriously, there is hair all over her, her house, and everything else she owns. I can't stop laughing. I was thinking the fun ideas might be tacky gag gits, but they aren't at all. They are very tactful and witty. When her birthday comes around I will use an idea from the free list for dog lovers. Again, I thought these might be tacky because they are free, but they're considerate and thoughful hearts felt gifts. Awesome book!

I saw this book online and loved the concept. It truly does address almost every gift giving option. I found it to be easy to use, and had some great gift ideas, that I would have never even thought of. I keep it in my desk, and know it will come in handy again during the holidays. Anyone who has a hectic schedule will certainly see the value in the time savings, and gift ideas this book offers.

For me, trying to find great gift giving ideas is tedious and stressful. I have bought several gift ideas books in the past and have been disappointed with all of them. This book is exactly what I needed. The Ultimate Guide to Great Gift Ideas covers every type of gift giving and has been wrapped up nicely in a nifty pocket sized book. I don't want to sift through tons of gibberish to find an idea and this book allows me to find ideas easily and quickly. Perfect!

I think it's rare to find a self help or reference book for gift ideas/gift giving that is as good as this one. I have tried several gift idea books in the past and just ended up reselling them. This is exactly what I was looking for and more. I like that this book contains thoughtful ideas to purchase and also includes more creative ideas for someone who may want to give a gift of their time, especially for mother's day and father's day gift ideas. It's organized perfectly and very compact. The author has really thought of everything. The ideas, the layout, and the limited narrative are great. The selection of gifts to purchase are thoughtful, the gift baskets are full of clever goodies, and the free and low cost gift ideas are wise and resourceful. This book was very nicely done.

Would recommend this book itself as a great gift!

I got this book over the weekend and just in time before another horrendous gifting season. How did she, the author, manage to know what everyone wants. The way the book is set up makes it very easy to write your list. You look up the type of person you're shopping for, handyman, gardener, reader, golfer, sports fan, etc. and there is a list of gift ideas in varying price ranges. What I really like about the book is that if someone happens to be a golfer and a handy man I can quickly generate a hybrid list.

I also want to mention the size of this book. The print type is normal size but the book itself is small enough to fit inside your jacket breast pocket (for the men) or a purse (for the women).

Lastly, I would even make the point that the best gift of all, is the book itself.

This guide is fabulous! I recommend it for anyone that wants to be creative and different in gift giving!
