Linda Taylor is wonderful! I read this book from cover to cover before I bought my longarm and now that I have my longarm I refer back to it whenever I have a question about anything. The only thing I had a problem with was that everything is Gammil specific. IE loading, threading, etc. If you have a different machine, you'll have to refer to your owners manual. But it is still great book and a very useful reference.

This book is the first place to start for anyone wanting to do long arm quilting. It guides you thru the whole process and gives you tips & tricks (and pitfalls to watch out for!). Even tho' I'm a beginner, I feel I don't have to learn it all by myself. Linda Taylor is at my side prompting me. Thanks Linda!

This book is without a doubt the best longarm quilting book I've ever seen! It is loaded with information, tips, diagrams and so on. There is nothing about longarm quilting that is not contained inside the pages of this masterpiece. I highly recommend this book to newbies as well as the advanced quilter, because I believe it holds something for everyone. Glossy pages with color photos only add to the value of this up to the minute, informative book. A must have for your machine quilting library.

As a newbie to longarm/shortarm quilting, I find that this book is a must. Lots of good information and illustrations. It is clear, easy to understand and makes one feel as if "I CAN DO IT!" Just what a beginner needs. On another level, I see that it will be a valuable reference for when I am more experienced. All in all, a wonderful additon to my library.

I bought this book to see what to look for in a longarm machine. I found it very informative and helpful. I also was surprised to see the information on choosing a quilter if that was what you needed. The patterns in the back were nice to have also. Over all, I enjoyed this book and feel it is a good resource if you are looking for a longarm machine.
