If you are now just hearing about Pinterest, you are not alone. This site is one of the fastest growing social media sites out there today and the concept is really simple and beautiful.

The idea is that you set up a Pinterest account and then you "Pin" your interest up on boards that are content or interest specific. The site is made so that pictures that you found pretty, interesting or otherwise caught your eye can be saved and shared.

The author reports that in the US and the UK the first adopters have been women who use the site to share everything from wedding attire and themes to recipes and food pictures. There is a huge craft contigency as well as groups devoted to art, fashion, design, etc.

The book does a great job of explaining how the site works and how to make the most of your presence there. She spends a good chapter discussing the copyright issues of posting pictures that you do not own and the author also gives you the lowdown on the proper etiguette of the site.

If you are a business that wants to set up a promotional type site (magazines such as People and Better Homes and Gardens are early adopters), Ms. Taylor walks you through how best to go about this including information in set up, SEO and other marketing advice.

Pinterest is as addictive as Facebook but it is, in my opinion, much more pleasing to look at. You must be invited to become a member but the author will get you that invitation if you just email her. This book has everything you ever wanted to know about this site and whether you are looking for information on how to best use Pinterest, for business or for pleasure, this is your book.

I'm very new to Pinterest and wasn't sure how to get started. This book is very clear and offers step-by-step guidance on how to set up everything in Pinterest. In addition, the author offers the how's and why's for marketing on Pinterest in a no-hype, integrious manner. I read the book in an afternoon and had my Pinterest profile set up the next day. I also love that the author offers updates to her material as Pinterest grow and changes. Well worth the money!

Ms. Taylor is an online marketing professional and is very enthusiastic about the marketing opportunities that Pinterest offers. This book has 140 pages and teaches the reader how to optimize their Pinterest boards to share and promote their business products and services.

This book explains how to get started on Pinterest. There are some impressive graphs that illustrate the remarkable and rapid growth of Pinterest.

Chapter 7, "How To Cash In With Pinterest?", features different kinds of businesses that are using Pinterest to market their products and services. The author advises entrepreneurs to "pin" their products and services in a catchy way, add a description and link back to their site.

The author also lists the top 10 "most Pinteratctive and engaging brands" and the top "Power Pinners" who have made the most of Pinterest.

Chapter 9, "Advanced Pinterest Strategies", really gets into the meat of how to use Pinterest to market your business. The author instructs readers on Pinterest SEO, how to optimize your profile, how to optimize your web site to encourage "pinning", and how to optimize your pins and boards with hashtags, mentions and likes.

The author provides a step-by-step plan for using Pinterest to market your business at the end of this book.

I found the sections that listed the different kinds of businesses that are using Pinterest, the most "Pinteractive brands" and the "power pinners" to be very interesting. I now have a list of people and companies that I want to follow and learn from.

I thought the step-by-step plan for using Pinterest to market your business was very, very helpful. As a matter of fact, I think this list was the highlight of the book.

Too technical for the most part. Made me realize how basic my knowledge is about pinterest. But I will study and read the book again. The book is well written and organized. I would still recommend the book to anyone who uses pinterest especially aperson with a website .

This book was great with really useful tips. What was especially helpful is the author advises you to drop her an e.mail if you would like to receive updates as this platform grows, which I think makes this info more robust and less likely to fall by the wayside as updates occur.

I didn't know anything about Pininterest until I read this book. I really enjoyed Gabriela's summary at the end. She walks you through a step-by-step process that gets you set up on Piniterest (and syndicated with other Social networks) quickly and with no hassle. I've only read this book once, straight through, but I already know it's going to turn into a true learning manual. I've read enough books about Online Marketing to recognize a gem when I see one. This is one of those gems. I highly recommend this book if you want to spread your message through the new kid on the social media block. Thank you Gabriela!
