5.0 out of 5 stars Must have for everyone!, June 21, 2007

Old Timer (Troutdale, OR USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Ultimate Interview (Paperback)
Whether you're a hiring manager, looking for a job, or work for a living, then this book is a must have for your library. The point is that this book has great insights applicable to any interview plus the expected insights into looking for a job. It will never go stale.

For many years I managed people in a technical environment for several major US companies. The book is right about what a manager is looking for, how they will react, and the flow of an interview. The book also helped me to be a better interviewer.

Oh, and yes I've used the book when looking for new jobs. It's seen several uses and it's been re-read several times over the years. One specific insight is how, or at least how, an interview progresses. In one case I even forced an interview into the pattern in the book with great success.

Bottom line - one heck of an insightful, easy to read books out there.
