I had already owned The Five-Minute Interview, also written by Beatty. I got that book because my brother-in-law swears by it - he's now a $100,000+ executive at top company...etc.
Using the techniques in this book, I have: - researched several job lead sources that I didn't know about before - crafted a powerful resume (by "powerful", I mean that my interviews have increased from one per month to eight per month) that gets noticed. - gotten very positive results in interviews "hey, if [the job you're interviewing here for] doesn't work out, MAKE SURE you contact me for opportunities in our IT department that pay more, are more interesting, blah blah... Hopefully, my job search will end very shortly. At very least, it is more fun with Beatty's game plan. |
