Some great stories, and some not so great,

Reading along through the collection of stories in this book was quite a surreal experience. Every story is a highly indvidualized account of each author's experience, whether near death, or with someone else near death. I felt the writing quality from one story to the next took me through many peaks and valleys. Out of all 43 stories, there were about five very touching ones that really stuck with me, while others were quite interesting, and just a few that left very weak impressions. Overall, the book delivered a very broad range of stories and experiences, and for that, I found it very enjoyable.

These are true stories that will quite literally change everything you thought you knew about death. Absolutely eye-opening! At last there a book of living and dying for Americans.
