Lots of colorful layouts, great guide for beginners,

I think this is a wonderful book. (The newest edition of this book has a different cover than the one pictured on amazon's page, but it is the exact same book.) Great for beginners-the first section explains which supplies you need and how to crop photos, set up layouts, etc. Each chapter is devoted to a different scrapbooking tool and has colorful layouts showing the use of that tool (such as stickers, printed paper, heritage pages, stamped pages, etc.) The layouts are ALL for the 8 1/2 x11" size scrapbooks and many of the layouts emphasize pattened papers from "Hot of the Press." There are LOTS of layouts in this book.

A Fantastic Addition to anyones scrapbooking Library,

I enjoyed this book so much. The layout pages were fantastic. The patterns provided throughout the book were also very nice. It really got me to thinking about all the great pages I could make with a little inspiration from this wonderful book. The price is not more than what it would cost for a couple of scrapbooking magazines.
