Thick book, lots of info, surprised it didn't cost more, August 29, 2009
This review is from: The Ultimate Military Spouse Survival Guide - Navy Edition (Kindle Edition)
This book helped with a paperwork issue I was trying to figure out (this is military specific) but I had to comment because I was surprised. It was not a tell-all about how life as a spouse sucks. I already know that much, I live it. But this really is written for me, the spouse. You never see anything that doesnt focus on the sailor with 'notes' about life as a spouse but no information on what to do. This covers everything. I feel really prepared with this. I would like to have been able to bought it in print, but I coudln't find it anywhere. (anyone else?)
The subjects go really indepth, and covers some of the topics nobody really wants to talk about but always worry about. I dont think I have to actually say what I am referring to here. It has alot of good stuff. I let my nieghbor borrow my kindle so she could read parts. Again this is a big book, more a reference for everything that could go wrong. it is not a 'sit down and read in one sitting' kind of book. If you really wanted to you could. Its not borring, just alot of information.
Great book! Thanks! I will look for it in print! (I am sad that I couldn't get the 'free for life ebook updates' since I bought the kindle edition instead of the one from the website. Customer service said it was because the updates track through email addresses during payment processing. Please find a way to fix this! I would love this feature too!)
