I was looking for cheap books for my kindle and I came across this one. I started reading it 6pm Sunday night and read until 1:30 am, forcing myself to put it down because I had to get up for work in the next few hours. There were so many crazy twist and turns in this book and it will literaly have you screaming, "Oh hell no!" The end will upset you, but good thing there's 2 more books that follow this series. I'm currently on the second book. They say you get what you pay for, but I got so much more out of this book for only $.99.

Maintaining healthy relationships is not always an easy thing to do. But, through it all there are some things that friends will not do to each other, unless you are Nitrah trying to help Dahlia seek revenge on Troyon, the man that hurt her. Tamika Newhouse crosses the invisible line with her characters in her debut novel The Ultimate NO NO.

When Dahlia sees Troyon, she asks Nitrah to help her break his heart, like he has done to her and other women many times before. This one plan to scam Troyon opens up a well of secrets and lies among friends. Every time it seems as though it could not get any worst, another secret is revealed that will have you going "oh hell no." Lives are bound to change. Who will walk away happy and who will walk away defeated and heartbroken?

Ms. Newhouse created well-developed characters. These characters were in their early 20s and they showed/acted their age by the things they said and did. I enjoyed these characters so much so that I cannot wait to read the sequel. However, the editing and proofreading need to be polished a bit more. But if you are looking for a page-turner with lots of drama, The Ultimate NO NO will be a good book to pickup. I recommend this to anyone looking to read something entertaining.

This story was an ongoing roundabout of infidelity, deception, lies and jealousy. The three main characters Troy, Dahlia and Nitrah were a blast to read about. There were so many different stories within stories your mind never stops being jolted from one shock to another. "The Ultimate No NO" is no slouch of a story. Just when you are hoping for happily ever after, you wont get it. I had a whopping bit of fun with this one. Pick it up, you wont be disappointed!

This author seems to have a knack for producing poorly edited material with atrocious grammatical errors.

I couldn't even follow the book because I got tired of having to sift through the terrible grammar.

Just another ghetto fabulous publication that does nothing for African Americans but keeps them trapped in false fantasies of love, and a false bravado one can only dream of.

with some friends like these who needs enemies, nitrah should have said no, troy reminded me of marcus from boomerang, many other characters/friends with issues and what nots, this is a ok read,

Do adults really act like this in real life? The three girlfriends acted like teenagers getting even with a man. This was so unbelieveable.

With friends like these you don't need enemies. These people don't know the meaning of the word. I read this book and the
sequel I recommend both. Cant wait for the next one.

I have been meaning to read this book for awhile and when I did, I was not disappointed. The story focuses on four best friends who have each others backs no matter what. What they all don't realize is that when you attempt to do dirt to others it will usually blow up in your face. While the four ladies, Nitrah, Jazzaray, Charmaine and Dahlia are out one night, Dahlia sees an old love from the past. Troyon is described as a dog and Dahlia can attest to this as she is one of many that have suffered a broken heart because of him. Dahlia wants revenge and plots to get it with the help of her friends. Of course things do not go as planned. When everything is said and done, feelings have been hurt, friendships have been destroyed and things hidden in the dark come to light.With the twists and turns, which are all connected, the reader will experience a range of emotions. Anger, happiness, sadness and disappointment were a few that I did experience in connection with the series of events in the book. The story line, although fast paced, was easy to follow. My attention was held throughout the book and there was nothing typical about it. Just when I thought I knew something, another twist was thrown into the mix. I finished this book in 2 1/2 days and I look forward to reading the next part. The authoress has done a fantastic job with her writing style and I am sure that whatever books she writes will be the same caliber as this one-excellent. I am a fan for life and look forward to all works by Tamika Newhouse.

Have you ever been hurt and wanted to get revenge for that hurt? If so then you will be able to identify with Dahlia Jones. When it comes to matters of the heart Dahlia wants Troyon Washington to pay for the pain he caused her. So she enlist her good friend Nitrah Hill to help ease the pain Troy has caused. Nitrah agrees to the scam and the emotional sparks are ignited.

However in love we experience unexpected interuptions and hidden emotions which cause volcanic eruptions. The relationships in The Ultimate No No is tested by life's issues, matters of the heart and people getting in their own way.

The host of characters are well developed and the storyline was told with grace and talent. As I closed the book I wondered about each character what they were doing and how life was treating them.
I excitedly look forward to the sequel...

The Ultimate No No is a amazing piece of literature that will have you on the edge of your seat focusing only one whats gonna happen next, it is a real page turner. All the Characters, From the ex's you'll hate to the Hopeful Next-es you will be rooting for through out the whole book, have one thing in common the drama of Love, Lust, Friendship and figuring out who in there lives fall into what category. This story is full of surprises, some so major it could change a person from a lover to a friend or enemy before its fully out, its intense. For the Characters, Troy, Nitrah, Dahlia, Jazzaray, Charmaine and the rest of the guys, these surprises mean everything and just prove what they should of known from the beginning messing with someone's heart is The Ultimate No No.
