A better book in the beading/jewelry making theme. New techniques and for someone with more sophisticated tastes. Projects give great ideas for your own creations. Techniques are not hard, just nicer necklaces to make for someone who will spend more than $25 for a piece of jewelry. A good reference book.

This is a complete book for beginners who want to learn about jewellery techniques. There are hole sections about beads, stringing, components, findings, tools, and wires. There is also a section about pearls. Perfect photographs and step-by-step instructions are very helpful to the reader. The author offers us 35 necklace designs which I find not so innovative and "good design" but help to illustrate the techniques she presents. It met my expectations. I recommend it.

I think Dorothy is a great beader and have been trying to get all her books. She does so much to help all of us that may need to have details. Great Book
