The recipes in this cookbook are simple and straightforward. The shopping lists are a bonus - you can plan your trip for a week at a time, shopping only once. GREAT for those with a big rig, lots of pantry room, and a good-sized refrigerator. We have a small Scamp trailer, with a tiny fridge and a three-burner gas cooktop. Since over half of the recipes in this book require an oven, it is only half-useful to me, and I don't have room or refrigeration to use the shopping lists or menus. So, if you RV, and want a cookbook for a full RV kitchen, this would be a nice addition. If you have a little trailer w/o an oven or much space, a "camping" cookbook would probably be a better choice.

I bought this book for my in-laws who have a motor home, they travel alot, so I can only go by what they have told me about the book I bought for them. They loved the book, they like to cook outside on the grill as well as inside in the motor home.

Was disappointed with the book. We have a pop-up camper. Almost every recipie in this cookbook requires an oven, so if you have an RV with an oven, you might like this. But usually cooking in those types of RVs is not a large problem.

Love the way this is organized! We're trying to revamp our diet to less processed foods so it didn't quite fit our needs... but it did teach me how to plan & organize meals for 3-4 days at a time with limited storage and refrigeration. Some good recipes for everyone.

My family would live on the campgrounds if we could. But having careers and busy kids make it difficult. This book was amazing! I received my first copy as a gift from a friend. Now I purchase several of them and give them to friends who are just starting to RV or camp. The grocery list makes it so simple to get organized and you know you didn't forget anything. The recipes aren't "too gourmet", so they're great for my picky husband. Love, love, love it. You've gotta order it!
