These CDs are truely incredible. I bought these because I'm always really stressed, and I will be starting college soon. Plus, I love guitar music, and this has a Spanish edge, which I love. This collection of amazing songs are so soothing, I could sleep to the music. The guitar is so well played, and the songs are never boring. I truly love this!

This is a fine little collection of classical Spanish guitar music, includes one of our favorite classical guitarists, Sharon Izbin, playing Tarrega's RECUERDOS DE LA ALHAMBRA.
The surprise for us is on Disc 2 Track 8: an ANDANTE by the Japanese composer Takashi Yoshimatsu, performed by partners Shin-ichi Fukuda and Eduardo Fernandes - AKA the Atom Hearts Club Duo.
We thought there was not enough detail given by Amazon about the recordings and performers, so we have included a full track list for you below - ENJOY!

I play classical guitar at the intermediate level and because of the title of the disk I picked it up with low expectations. But then I saw that it has a wonderful collection of classical guitar music, much of it played by one of my favorite guitarists, Alexander-Sergei Ramirez. Amongst the many gems there were a couple of disappointments, a few pieces not so well played. I would have wished that Denon had included the version of Barrios' La Catedral that was played by Ramirez instead of the one they included. Ramirez' version is the best I've heard, bar none, so I was surprised to hear the one they included. But I liked the set so much on the whole that I've tracked down the other CD's in the series.

The assortment of music on these two CDs is fantastic, entertaining, and totally enjoyable. And at the price there is absolutely no reason not to buy it set.

The music is very relaxing. It is a bit on the very classical side with a lot of technique that is probably more appreciated by a guitarist or one very knowledgeable in classical music.

this was purchased for a giving tree recipient and l know he will enjoy the beautiful songs and have many happy hours of listening pleasure.

This is a great CD. I would recommend it for those who love guitar. My cougar GF loves this, she listens to it often while at work in her awesome.

Had I listened to this before buying I wouldn't have bought it. Not that many good classical guitar cuts.
