You really can fit 10 rods on this, and for the price it is the best rod storage rack I could find. It is easy to install, and very easy to use. It is plastic, but seems strong enough. The mounting hardware was included, took less than 5 minutes to install. With the stretchy keeper cord in use, you can use this mounted in a vehicle, or on the back of a garage door, even when it opens. Mine is now on my ceiling, the only con, very minor, is I wish the rods were spaced out just a tiny bit more. Having said that, if you are storing rods without the reels on it, there is more than enough space. I mine with the reels mounted and it does fir. I have 5 spincasting, 4 spinning, and 1 fly rod with reels mounted on it right now.
Mine arrived very quickly in less than a week, the shipping was affordable, and it was safely packed. I recommend.

I have always had a problem where the best out of the way storage place was to protect my expensive fishing rod collecton. Until while randomly shopping for a fishing rod holder I was introduced through Amazon com. to the ultimate rod sitter. Not only is the "sitter" a well constructed compact design which accomadates ten rods with reel, but is ingeniously constructed for ease of mounting in various situations. I am extremely pleased with this product and would recommend to all.

should be made in 2 sizes. The bigger rods with the bigger reels can't fit 10 rods in holder you have to skip every other holder so only holds 5 rod and reels. Something to consider

My wife thanks you for the returned garage space! I even put the Pen 50's in them with absolutely no issue. I saw other reviews about the spacing and was worried they wouldn't fit. Although the extra spacing would be nice it is really not required. Only suggestion is that you may have to get longer screws to mount it.

It takes less than 5 minutes to mount one of these, so simple anyone can do it. Elastic cords holds rods in place, out of the way. Hardware included. Try to mount over a stud for more stability.

I absolutely love this storage rack! It was easy to install and holds all of my rods. I highly recommend this. The only negative is I think its a little pricy for what it is.

I needed to carry between 6 and 10 rods at a time on my golf cart. These racks were the perfect solution. The only complaint I have is that the cords used to secure the rods in place, stretch and eventually stop working at all. I replaced them with my own stretch cords, purchased for $1.50 per 5 pack. Overall I love this product and will likely get another set for my truck.

Pretty good product. i have 10 rods in it right now in the garage. does as they say it does. for the $$ i couldn't find a better product. 10 rods with baitcasters on them take up a lot of room so it would have been nice if they made it a little wider. i would buy another one.

Keeps my rods on the ceiling and away from my kids. Works great and is priced great!
