According to previous books, it seems as if nothing else is needed to produce credible images than a rubber stamp, an ink pad, and a surface. Green, however, expands our horizons by combining other complementary media with the stamp process. In fact, the approximately 30 projects realize almost professional status, resembling good hand-colored illustrations applied in creative ways to a variety of surfaces, including picture frames, photo albums, clothing, and holiday ornaments. Techniques range from embossing and repeat designs to the incorporation of stenciling, sponging, stitching, and decoupage. Too, tips like "choose a well-defined outlined image for a 3D pop-up" appear throughout patterns and instructions.
