Mixed feelings,
This review is from: Ultimate Ski Glove - Men's by Marmot (Apparel)
I bought this glove because I commute on a bicycle during winter months. That means I regularly face winds around 30 mph and have various snow and ice conditions. I have tried several brands of gloves before in the $25-$75 range and none were successful at keeping my hands from freezing when the temperature gets below 20 degrees. So I bought a pair of these expensive gloves hoping that they could do the job. The answer is, "well, they're better than any other glove I ever owned, but only marginally so and they cost 2 - 3 times as much."My fingers still get quite cold, but they do not feel as though they will fall off, a feeling I've had with other gloves. I really expected to be toasty warm because I don't think the conditions I bike in (20 degrees into a wind) were all that demanding. I was surprised that my fingers were still cold. Maybe I'm asking too much, but for the extra $75 I expected more. Let me be clear: this would be a five-star glove if it were priced around $100. It's better than other gloves, but only marginally.
