e2 sleep cell,
This review is from: "The E Bag" Ultimate Sleep Cell Sleeping Bag with Memory Foam Comfort Base Layer and Pillow and Coolvent Climate Control System (Misc.)
Sleeping bag was comfortable and easy return to its original packaging. I would recommend a cot or air mattress even though the sleeping bag has memory foam, the padding is not very thick. Didnt need any additional blankets for heat and didnt get to warm while in the sleep cell. Overall, I would recommend the bag.

repacking & Stuff sack quality trouble,

Love the bag. Have purchased three of them. All three stuff sacks ripped. I will probably buy a different type of stuff sack for my bags.

I bought mine a K Mart and tried it out the next day. The pillow is located at the very top of the bag but the warm part of the bag is down by your collar bone if using the pillow. The zippers were difficult to get all the way to the top. One roll in the sack and the zippers open down to the knees. The Velcro flaps sewn at the top of the zipper, I guess to stop unzipping, don't help at all, especially if you try pulling the cord on the hood which also unzips the thing. Nice idea but useless, unless you can lay motionless all night.

SO COMFORTABLE & WARM FOR THE SEQUOIAS,

So far the most comfortable sleeping bag I've ever used. We have Coleman's, Swiss Gear, and a few others. This was used on a cot in a tent and temperatures fell to only 50 degrees at night, but I'm sure I could of handled 40. I woke up at one point and thought I was at home in my own bed and thought this was the best overall tent camping I've had in 40 years. Yes, forget about putting it back in the original sack. I put mine in a duffel bag. I will not go camping without it ever. Oh, my other family members froze in their bags--I felt so guilty. (When we returned home, we bought 3 more).

This review is for the "e bag" mega premium bag from costco[...] which is basically the same bag as the E2, but larger.
At first try, the bag is nice and warm. However, as you dig into it to actually use it, there are several immediate flaws. 1. There are two zippers on the side of the bag to zip it shut. Only one of the two zippers has the little handle to close it on the inside of the bag, the other one only has the handle on the outside, so closing that side up when you're snug in the bag is very difficult. 2. When (if) you actually do get both zippers closed, despite it's cocoon appearance and draw-string, it's seemed impossible to get a snug tight fit where your shoulders weren't exposed. 3. The zippers come undone extremely easily! The slightest pressure, movement or just trying to get the one of the zipper to close gets the other zippers to open. 4. During the first day/night of use, one of the zippers got stuck. As I tried to fix it, I held on to the inside and pulled to get it unstuck, and the whole inside ripped and created a hole! While I felt the sleeping bag did an excellent job of keeping me warm without getting me too hot (estimated around 50F at night), this is not a bag I can recommend to anyone. Without a sweater on, my shoulders would have been cold.

What moron designed this?,
This review is from: "The E Bag" Ultimate Sleep Cell Sleeping Bag with Memory Foam Comfort Base Layer and Pillow and Coolvent Climate Control System (Misc.)
Who designed this thing. Good concept but the slightest movement when you are zipped up and the zipper unzips all the way to the bottom. Woke up freezing several time because both zippers were unzipped all the way to the bottom. The only rationale I can think of was that there was zero testing by people who actually slept in this bag for a complete night. Only wish that I had tried it sooner so that it could have been returned in time.

This bag is great! The only complaint I have is the difficulty re-rolling it and getting it back in it's case. I have to get someone to help me hold the flaps down in order to roll it small enough to get it back in the carrier.

Got two of these at Kmart for $32. The only mysterious part was the tempature or fill rating, but from experience My wife do well in them down to upper 30's with long johns and a fleece liner. They're wide enough for us to fit another summer bag in them and not lose compression and get it down to mid 20's, a bivy might be added just in case.
But if it's cold bring your hat, because the hood is the biggest drawback for me. But well worth the price. Repacking is not any different from other tight stuff sacks.

The Operative Words Are 'Stuff Bag',

I have yet to use our bags, but I agree with the OP about difficulty in repacking the bags as they left the factory. They're packed by experts under ideal conditions to minimize shipping costs. Throw the wrapper sleeve away. Just *stuff* the sleeping bag into the "Stuff Bag".
These bags are bulky and heavy, far from goosedown bags for backpackers and riders. They'll fit just fine in my pick-up truck.

Best Sleeping Bag ever!,

I have slept in this sleeping bag nearly every night for the past year (I am a college student) and it has been fantastic. It is extremely comfortable. The foam is pretty thin, but if you use it on top of regular padding/mattress underneath then it is perfect. Anything is better than no memory foam. It is quite heavy, but it fits back in the bag just fine for me. I have gotten a few tears in it, but remember that I have slept in this thing over 200 hundred times! One of the best investments I have ever made. Buy it before they are all gone! I wish they would still make them.
