Excellent Descriptions,
This review is from: The Ultimate Stranger: The Autistic Child (Paperback)
Delagato does an excellent job of describing the sensory systems of the autistic child and gives the reader a way to classify those senses. He uses hyper, hypo, or "white noise" to identify how the child's senses work. This system alone makes attaining this book a gold mine for anyone who works with autistic individuals.

This review is from: The Ultimate Stranger: The Autistic Child (Paperback)
This is a very interesting book not only for the medical/psychological and education professionals but for the general public. There's seems to be an increase in the number of diagnosed autistic individuals. The need for early intervention and multi discipline approach in reaching a diagnosis is a must.
