This review is from: The Ultimatum (Steadfast Series #2) (Paperback)
This book is preceded by The Seat Beside Me (forgettable) and A Steadfast Surrender (best of the three). If I hadn't read the first two I might not have picked it up.
If you want to know what's going on with Merry, Claire, Sim, Jered, and Bailey, then you will want to read it. I don't think it's as interesting as A Steadfast Surrender (I find it a bit annoying that Moser must introduce completely new characters with each book and then focus 50% of the book on them) but it is worlds better than The Seat Beside Me which I don't like at all. I find the new characters, Annie and Cal, not very likeable. We don't see enough of Claire, Merry, and Sim, but I did enjoy seeing more of Jered and even Bailey. |
