5.0 out of 5 stars Classic!
One of the few GoreGrind albums that will remain original and unique over the time. Just the fact that the band is not overdoing or forcing themselves makes U.M.C. Sound fresh even after all these years. They're in it to have fun and the music shows that. This album would be The Evil Dead of GrindGore Metal.Definitely a must buy for anyone interested in something different...

I'll give this 5 stars because Ultimo Mondo Cannibale is, in essense, a brilliant album. However, please seek out the Morbid Records rerelease of this masterpiece. As stated above, the band does not support the Pavement version.

Eighteen songs of pure disgust is what it's all about. Sure, Impetigo wasn't the tightest gore-grind band around in the late 80's, but they definitely knew how to pack the fun in! How can you not refuse songs like "Red Wigglers", "Revenge Of the Scabby Man", and "* Death Teenage Mucuos Monster From Hell"? Aside from that, any band that samples Cannibal Holocaust is A-OK in my book. And for all those anti-grind folk who hate samples, Impetigo is an exception just because. . . because. . . they're Impetigo!

This ol band highers the bar for gore grind. Great throat gurgling goodness. The vocal range makes this a much more satisfying listen than some other monotonous grind vocals. I can actually imagine demons playing music in an underground cavern full of chopped up babies. Its great!

5.0 out of 5 stars Legendary Gore-Grind band from the late 80's...., April 12, 2002

Gore-grind....what a sub genre of disgusting Death Metal. Totally sickening. Bands like Impaled, Exhumed, and older Carcass....want somebody to blame it all on? Blame Impetigo! Blame those father-less, cold-hearted sickos! Blame it all on them. Along with their somewhat brother, the late Repulsion from Michigan, Impetigo started Gore-Grind. I have a few Mp3's by Impetigo, and they are totally killer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Grind gods!!!!!!!!!!!!!, February 9, 2005

Ultimo mondo cannibale concept based on the third world italian cannibal films of the late seventies and early eighties films. While reprehensible in nature, are still fascinating and repulsive to even those who are used to stronger stuff. These feature animal mutilation,rituals........
If you like horrors, torture, cannibalism or suffering, this is what you want.Very interesting primitive grind/death metal in old vein.Raw thrashing sound with gore lyrics. There are 18tracks in 40minutes with many many passage horrors intros like Cannibal Holocaust,House by the cemetary.....
First track Maggots opening this cult opus.Second Dis-organ-ized,third Intense Mortification,Venereal Warts,Zombie,Red Wigglers,Bad Dreams......Most popular are Bitch death teenage mucous monster from hell,My lai or classic Dear uncle creepy,Jane Fonda sucks..
Very good!!!!!!

imagine that sam kinison is still alive and he incorporates a death metal band into his act. impetigo is a brutal band, but they don't take death metal seriously
