This was a LOUSY CD and not worth the blank CD that was used when making it!,

I tried to like this CD. There's even a few songs on it that I liked from hearing on the web and/or radio. Though, as a compilation, they are awful. The CD has way too much hip-hop on it and the mixing done on the songs just makes them sound worse. As another reviewer claimed, I threw this into my order to make the free shipping. Looking back on it, I wished that I just paid for the shipping and saved myself from listening to this CD at all.I'm listening to it as I type this right now. Usually the ULTRA series makes some great mixes, but they definitely missed the mark on this one. Oh yea, and Ultra 2009 isn't worth the dough either!

Is this the end of an ok series...,

I Don't need to buy this album to know how bad it is. Ultra completely lost it with this ridiculous "compilation" This is not Ultra.Dance status.. this is hip hop and pop remixed with the title Ultra Dance which surely doesn't deserve it. .. What the hell went through Ultra records mind??? I've never been completely satisfied with previous ultra.Dance compilations but compared to this album, those albums are masterpieces... this album has no real house, electro, or trance in here.. there is no big dance music names. Is this suppose to be the album of the year??? how pathetic. It is just radio music, literally. I would recommend Ultra.2009 at least it has 2discs and it is a lot more varied. Don't waste your money on this, u can listen to this songs on the radio for free! plus to be realistic you'll be over all this songs in a month..peace!

TERRIBLE! WHAT HAPPENED TO ULTRA DANCE???,
By stereototal2040 "stereototal2040" (Los Angeles, CA) - See all my reviews

I have been an avid fan of the Ultra Dance series for some time now, and I was shocked to hear how bad this release is. First off, they added in hip hop and rnb songs in a very clumsy way. Secondly, the mixing is terrible. And really overall the whole thing just sounds rushed and all over the place. This is not the Ultra Dance that I have been a fan of for the last few years. I would recommend passing on this album, there are a lot better pop / dance mixes out there to be had.

this album is trash. plain and simple. I have been an avid fan of ultra records since the beginning, especially the ultra.dance series. One would think that the 10th ultra dance cd would be a big deal, and they would put effort into the tracklist/packaging.... well obviously youd be wrong in thinking that. first of all, half this album isn't even dance, it's hip hop and r&b. second, pretty much all the 'dance' tracks are remixed by the same damn guy! its just a big mess. its just funny, the ultra slogan is 'often imitated never duplicated..." if you ask me, they're trying way too hard to be like thrive's latest mixes, which also SUCK. I can only hope and pray that ultra gets the hint from all the negative reviews and gives us a half - decent ultra dance 11.... but if they continue on with this crap.... well obviously thats not happening.

Dance please.,
This review is from: Ultra Dance, Vol. 10 (Audio CD)
This is not dance, this is Hip Hop/R&B, like everyone else has said. They need to start and Ultra R&B to put this crap on, instead of using the Dance title for it.

Race to the Bottom,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Ultra Dance, Vol. 10 (Audio CD)
This series of CDs started out as fantastic cutting-edge dance music. Over the past few years, however it has made a mad dash for the bottom by moving from cutting edge to little more than rap and drum and bass. I'm not even sure that most of the songs could even be called "dance" I'm sure that this appeals to some, but for most of us this CD represents the headstone for what was once a much-anticipated dance release. RIP

JASON NEVINS DOES IT AGAIN,
By Club bartender "Club Bartender" (Palm Spriings CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ultra Dance, Vol. 10 (Audio CD)
There are fewer songs(thankfully)in this installment in the Ultra seriers. Jason Nevins does it again with this piece of garbage. He is without a doubt the worst commercial DJ around...don't think so catch his mix of "Call me when your Sober" on another cd. This is not trance or house but a collection of badly remixed hip-hop for the masses who call any dance song techno. Club mixes for the 18 and under clubs. Save your money.

World renown producer and remixer Jason Nevins is back with another fantastic remix compilation for "Ultra Dance 10'!I remember when I first discovered Jason Nevins and it was back in the 90's from his remix of Run-DMC's "It's Like That", the song dominated the charts in different parts of the world and he has produced a good number of remixes since then. With "Ultra Dance 10', this continuous remix featuring 16 tracks include non-stop dance tracks such as T.I. feat Rihanna's hit track "Live Your Life", Britney Spear's "Break the Ice", Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" and many more. A good balance of dance tracks and hip hop, I just love the energetic vibe of tracks such as Britney Spears "Break the Ice" and the Benny Benassi Mix of Estelle feat. Kanye West's "American Boy". Especially for hip hop tracks such as Kid Cudi vs. Crooker's "Day `N Nite (Remix)" transforming the urban song to dance club synergy and the same can be said about "The The Ayer" feat. Flo Rida feat. Will.i.am. Upbeat, non-stop energy. All songs were presented quite nicely in this compilation album and for those who dig these remixes of popular contemporary tracks, you'll definitely dig "Ultra Dance 10'. From the "Dragonstea Dintei"-like track of "Live Your Life" kicking off the CD to Alina's "When You Leave Me (Numa Numa) (Basshunter Remix)", this compilation definitely is energetic and a remix that I found quite enjoyable! So, when it comes to remix albums, there are many who have more of a like towards European artists or non-popular contemporary artists and the "Ultra Dance" albums in the past have become quite varied and popular for that. This album tends to include quite a bit of popular artists from T.I., Rihanna, Britney Spears, Estelle, Chris Brown, Katy Perry, Usher, Christine Millan and more. I just felt that the overall musical presentation by Jason Nevins really gave a fresh new perspective to these songs and even made me even curious of artists that I really never listened to before. Listening to Nevin's remix of "Us Against the World" by Christine Millan, I found myself listening to this remix over and over again. Especially another perspective of songs such as "With You" by Chris Brown with this Kovas Ghetto Beat Extended Remix. Definitely a fresh remix of this track and others that it just made me enjoy these songs all over again with the new musical remix presentation courtesy of Nevins. Overall, it depends if you enjoy remixes and for those who owned previous versions of the "ULTRA DANCE" compilations, the past releases have included a second disc of more music, this one only has one disc of music. Personally, I have enjoyed Nevins work for well over a decade and I'm definitely not disappointed with his work on this album. I enjoyed it a lot! "ULTRA DANCE 10' is a remix album worth checking out!

This CD title has to be a joke. This compilation is not only terrible but just like another reviewer said, captures the sad state of popular music in the USA. To have the word Dance in the title is laughable. They must have gotten the titles mixed up for a compilation titled Radio Garbage Remixed 2010
