I replaced all of the knobs in my 1941 home with these and they look gorgeous. A previous home owner had "updated" all the knobs in the house with cheap, ugly gold ones. The glass on these is beautifully faceted and I love the clean lines of the locking mechanism (on the privacy version - Ultra Hardware 83636 Gainsborough Sonata Bed-Bath Door Knob, Satin Nickel). Now I feel happy every time I open a door in my home!

We had a door handle that looked the same as this one, but was older and kept falling off no matter what we did. I found this replacement to be less expensive online than at the home improvement stores so I ordered it here and it works very well and looks very nice. The brushed nickel looks better, in my opinion, than the shiny nickel and it doesn't come loose or fall off like our old one!

Got one of these and 4 privacy sets to replace existing hardware. So far have done 1 privacy and attempted 1 passage set. The design of the passage set has a set of plates that sit on either side of the door, these are held together by screws on either side going into a threaded tube. The center hole is threaded to accept the rosettes and the knobs are held to the rosettes with c-clips over the thread on the rosettes. Very difficult to mount the plates if your door is thick enough to require slack on both sides of the tubes. The big problem however is that the thread on one of the rosettes did not match the diameter on the mounting plate, actually about 1/64th too big so it would not catch. The other rosette attached without issue on either mounting plate. Kind of incomprehensible how this is possible, I would have suspected the stamped plates to be wrong but not the cast and machined rosettes. Yes, stamped plates, you are paying $60 for design for cheapness.

The locking set was a much better design - no stamped plates, but the latch mechanism is quite sticky, the knobs get stuck at the end of their travel.

Compared to the Schalge F-series sets I used elsewhere, the mechanical design and quality is quite poor.

The Ultra Hardware crystal door knob kit is an excellent modern version of the old mortise type crystal door knob system but, with new, modern hardware! Highly recommend for those old homeowners that want to maintain the old character without the old hardware.

Very easy to install, even for me. Just what I wanted and the price was perfect especially after looking at others.

These glass door knobs are just beautiful! we are in an older home and I wanted to keep with the vintage feel while upgrading almost everything. These are the 3rd type of glass door knobs I have ordered, and the other were more expensive - $70 and $114 - BUT these are absolutely the best! my husband installed them, and he said they were much easier to install than the others. the other door knobs were pretty, but these dazzle! the way the glass is cut they seem to sparkle more and the feel of the knob is fuller and rounder. the other knobs seemed to be smaller or more slight. we have changed all of our indoor knobs to these and we are very happy with this product!
