So far, so good
I gave this 4 stars because I just got it for Christmas and I dunno how it'll fare in the long run. The modular plug system is very nice as compared to regular PSUs with the cables built in. (I managed to cut out around 1/3 of the wires i had before installing this, I have no power cords dangling anywhere in my case now.) Its true 500w, always a good thing. (I was using...

Not a good product for large cases!!
I've had this product installed for several months now and it has been working fine. I have it in a full size tower and some of the cables barely reach their sockets. I just finished installing a video card and now my four pin cable that runs from my power supply to my mother board won't reach. so be weary.

I've had this product installed for several months now and it has been working fine. I have it in a full size tower and some of the cables barely reach their sockets. I just finished installing a video card and now my four pin cable that runs from my power supply to my mother board won't reach. so be weary.

(I was using a 420w factory PSU that came with the case) Its been going since non stop since X-mas with out giving me grief. I'll be getting a GeForce 6800 video card in about a month, if it can hold up 'till then and handle the card, the X-Connect will earn it's 5th star, from me anyway.
