Product Description
Ultimate low flow shower head uses only 1.5 GPM from 30 to 80 PSI. Pressure compensating flow regulator provides constant flow over range of pressures. Solid brass, chrome plated, and made in the USA. Provides good rinsing force in an aerating type spray. 1" diameter nozzle. 1/2" female connection installs easily on any standard shower arm.

This shower head worked really well for us. No, it doesn't have the rinsing power of a 2.5 gpm head, but I didn't expect it to, and the spray turned out to be much better than I anticipated. I left the plastic cone in the shower head - just threaded it on right out of the package. The only caveat I'll add is that our house's water pressure is very good...those with low pressure might have trouble. But it has been fantastic for us, and I estimate it saved us about $25 on our first quarterly water bill.

My old shower head of this ilk had worn out after a quarter of a century! The tiny pin holes in the metal faceplate that directs the water had worn into huge gaps and water was flowing out rather than producing a fine shower. The new one works fine, but after my initial installation I noticed very poor water flow. I removed it and found a conical plastic insert had come off the inside and was the culprit. I tried to decide if this was supposed to be there as some sort of limiter or was just for shipping. Of course, there was no written instruction accompanying the faucet addressing this. I removed it and the results seem great--but the water flow certainly seems more than the advertised 1.5 gpp.

Small, easy to install and SURPRISINGLY pleasant to use best describes this showerhead. Made in the USA and constructed of solid metal,it produces a very nice "gentle pulsating" spray. Customer service from the manufacturer "Whedon Products" is also excellent.
