The unit works okay except for the (4) USB ports. When inserting a USB Flash drive you get a power error message. So if you don't need USB which I do it's not bad. Otherwise stay way from this product.

Got it before Christmas. Never got the USB ports to work. Keeps giving a USB power error.

DO NOT buy this device if you want to use it with flash or thumb USB drives or unpowered USB external hard disks!!!
Had the same problem as everyone else with this device, complaints about not enough power to power the device. According to tech-support, the USB ports are UNPOWERED, which means the USB hub is completely useless for devices that aren't self powered. Good bye using these really nice, snazzy front ports for USB flash drives.
Tech support also stated that announcements were sent to resellers to make sure that customers knew this. Maybe I missed it (it's possible), but I don't see any disclaimer on the Amazon page for this product. If it is there, but I missed it, I suggest Amazon make it much BIGGER, maybe red or flashing...

Don't waste your money
The serial ports never worked and I can't seem to find the drivers that Windows 7 is looking for to install the USB ports. All in all, this is a waste of money.

Nice product for the price
I've installed 3 of these so far and have been very happy. One of them had a power issue, when I plugged it in the system wouldn't boot and without it the USB ports didn't work. Read more

It's a Case upgrade
Bought this to upgrade an old case to have up front USB ports. The USB ports wok fine haven't tried any of the other functionality offered. Relatively easy install.
