At the time of this writing, there are two other reviews, each of which identifies significant battery problems. The blue/black batteries depicted in this item do not resemble the red/silver/black items typically identified as Ultrafire 3000mAh 18650 batteries in ads elsewhere, on and off Amazon. These facts suggest that the batteries furnished under this item may not be as described. Let the buyer beware.

FYI, I bought "normal" red Ultrafire 3000mAh batteries elsewhere and they work perfectly. Good Luck.

Cannot comment on batteries because I have not been able to use them yet. The charger is very cheaply made. There is one LED but no directions anywhere that tell you what to expect. I plugged it in with batteries in it and the LED lit up red. I don't know if it is supposed to go off when the batteries are charged or change color or what. The red LED may mean something is wrong; who knows. I'm leaving it plugged in to see what happens. We'll see.

Update:
Last night I put the freshly charged batteries (oh, the charger light never goes out or changes color. You are supposed to just know how long to leave them in.) into my new Fenix flashlight. The batteries powered the light on high for about 5 seconds. From that point on the best they would do was half brightness (another brand of battery powered the light on full brightness without problem). I checked the charge (I had a much better charger that had multicolor led that indicates level of charge) and the batteries indicated full charge. These batteries were just not capable of supplying the amount of current the light needed to shine on its brightest level. I do not know if they all are like this, but these definitely were.
I would give them less than one star if I could.

The 18650 charger works fine. The LED changes color from red to green when batteries are charged. The batteries are an issue. The fully charged batteries will only power my flashlight (high setting) for about 3 minutes then the flashlight turns off. It will work longer on a lower setting. Other battery brands do work with my flashlight. I ended up disposing of the batteries and keeping the charger. The vendor did provide a refund for the battery.

Some might be good, but expect a high failure rate.
