I have bought several of these flashlights with the result that one had a minor problem that, once I became determined to fix it the flashlight started functioning flawlessly. The fix was easy. Here is what I wrote as a comment to the one individual who gave a 1-star rating: I had a problem with intermittent operation because there was a loose piece in the tail cap. Try tightening the ring that holds the switch assembly. You can use a sharp pointed tool, such as an awl, or a knife blade, to turn that ring in a clockwise direction until it is as tight as you can get it. Then your flashlight should work just fine, and you can re-rate it. It is an annoying fact that their qc isn't a little better, but these flashlights are so reasonably priced, and so bright that they are a killer deal. I believe that despite the occasional assembly problem, these are good flashlights. They wouldn't be going to people as presents if I didn't believe that they are basically good. I recommend this model to anyone who wants a very bright flashlight in a very small package.

So far, I love this flashlight. The multiple tail-cap modes are fantastic. I also love the fact that it accepts P60 style Surefire bezels/emitters. You can upgrade this thing in many of the same ways you would a Surefire 6P.

this compact flashlight is a lightweight with the punch of a heavyweight and economical as well. when testing it
at night at various distances, this compact ultrafire wf-502b 5q light was virtually identical to my 3D led
maglite with the maglite on spot which is amazing since this ultrafire is much lighter and much smaller than my
maglite. add to that this ultrafire is small enough to fit in your pocket unlike my maglite and the ultrafire
uses a rechargable 18650 lithium ion battery which is far more economical than the maglite's 3 non rechargable
D size alkalines. and finally, this ultrafire is just as solid built as my maglite and at less than $20 this
product is a steal.

bought this light for use in automotive shop. its more than bright enough for any inspections, lasts a long time on a single charge, and fits nicely in my pocket.
the strobe function is great to get another tech's attention across the shop, or just to annoy each other when its slow :)

When the flashlight worked it worked well ! But it quit working and had very little use since I purchased it September 24th 2011 and it stopped working May 1st 2012. I should have known better ! Sometimes you get what you pay for. Maybe it's just my flashlight that happened to go bad ? But right now I feel I wasted my money on this flashlight. I suspect the tail piece button has gone bad because once in awhile the light will come on but won't stay on. And now I can't get it to come on at all.. I will check to see if there is some kind of warranty but feel if I had spent more to begin with on a name brand I wouldn't be dealing with this now..

This flashlight comes with a decent case, is sturdy and has a good heft to it. Button operates well and the light produced is adequate. Multiple modes of light including strobe make it a steal compared with much more expensive alternatives.

EDIT - Five Stars To One Star

I decided to walk the dog tonight. After five minutes, it went out. I smelled it, and it fried. This thing is TOAST.

Well, it's 4Sevens from now on for me...

****************************************************************************

For around ten bucks, this is the best thing going. And, if you have any doubts, the specs seem to be right on the money. I have a Streamlight that is right around 110 lumens. This 502B light is advertised at 210 lumens. By my own eye, I'd say that it is roughly twice as bright as the Streamlight.

It seems to be very solid, and all the modes work.

I can't find a reason why someone wouldn't buy this wonderful flashlight.

I keep my low-cost Chinese made lights stashed in different areas where I might need a flashlight some day - Just in case. In fact, I call them 'stashlights' instead of flashlights. I would never stash a $70 4Sevens in a drawer at work, probably never to be used again. But, I would stash a ten dollar Chinese made UltraFire.

Should something happen that requires me to have a very bright flashlight to find my way around in the dark, I know I'll be well served by this UltraFire flashlight.

BUY SEVERAL!!!!!!
