This bible is a perfect size, not to big or small and the print is not large not too small, and there is something about the way in which it is bound that when it sits open it fits comfortably in your hand and the pages stay open until you change them, you know how some books are bound so when you open them you have to keep your hand on the page to keep it open, this is bound so that it stays where you open it, that is very important to prevent frustration. Combining the beautifully accurate and reliable New King James Version of the Holy Bible in an outstanding format. With a beautiful burgundy leather cover, the edges are gilded golden, and includes a convenient ribbon marker sewn into the binding. The full text of the New King James Version is included, with translator notes, colour maps, centre-column references, presentation pages, and words of Christ in red, all in a super compact format. The words are highly readable even considering its compact format. Very highly recommended as a primary Bible for any and all Christians!

I found this bible to be very compact and it even has a reference. I bought it for its smallness and the good crisp typeface. A good pick when you gotta pack light!

This bible is exactly what I was looking for. It is light weight, print is not too small and very pleased with the overall quality of this bible, especially the genuine leather cover. This is a perfect bible for taking to church.

I love this Bible, because it combines all the features I wanted in a book that is thin enough to slip in the pocket of my child's diaper bag and light enough not to add too much weight to the already heavy load I take with me everywhere! The tabs make finding scriptures easier, so I can spend more time reading and less time looking for what I want to read. There are references in the center column of each page, and those have been helpful, linking verses to others that are similar elsewhere in the Bible. I love the concordance! It is so much better than those of other Bibles I have used. So far, each time I have used it I have found the verse I was looking for was included. The only thing I did not care for was the look of the leather cover. I was expecting smooth, almost matte black leather, but it has a "grain" and is quite glossy. When I first received it I was disappointed by the cover, but I quickly decided to overlook it when all the other features proved so helpful.

This bible ticks all the boxes. With a thumb index, pages touched with gold, the Lord's words in red, concordance, maps and reference, not to mention the leather cover, it is a bible that is a must have. It was a present for a very particular older relative and was the perfect gift.

This is a replacement for one that was stolen. The genuine leather cover is far better than the bonded leather one I had before. And the price was even better than what I paid for the bonded leather version.

I read the Bible through annually and like to purchase a new Bible for reading. What I am experiencing is that it is getting more difficult to just find a plain quality Bible. Most Bibles today are various study and themed versions with others' ideas. A Bible with center references so that I can conduct chain studies, and concordances and maps would be my choice. Then I like a leather (not pasted on) flexible binding. I read others reviews before I purchased this Bible. Their reviews were correct. It has generous space to record family history such as births, marriages and deaths; the leather binding is superb and rests naturally in the hands; the print is smaller that I would have liked, but surprisingly I am having no difficulty with reading this regular print - very crisp and now I prefer it over my large print versions; the price is very reasonable; it shipped quickly; has a ribbon placeholder - nice size for travel - what more can I say? I don't think you'll be disappointing. I love this Bible and will likely not look for another one next year.

The size of this bible is perfect. The references are well spaced and the words of the Lord in red are a really nice addition. It has a whole section dedicated to the harmony of the gospels. I would highly recommend this bible.
