Product Description

UltraTouch toilet seats are "Soft to the Touch" NOT foam padded. The UltraTouch Comfort Touch surface is similar to what you find on today's soft handle toothbrushes, writing pens, etc. UltraTouch heated seats plug into an outlet and include an 6ft extension cord. The UltraTouch heated seats feature a molded-in 12 volt Thermal Circuit heating element that heats to a comfortable 20 to 25 degrees above room temperature. Treat yourself to a heated toilet seat. It is an unexpected pleasure that you will enjoy everyday. Once you try the heated UltraTouch seat you will never want to sit on another seat again! Before Ordering be sure to check the size Measure from center of the front of the bowl to center between the hinge post holes, this should be approximately: 16 1/2" for a Standard Round bowl. 18 1/2" for an Elongated bowl. In the U.S., the standard distance between hinge post holes is 5 1/2".

No more cold toilet seat for me!!

Bought this as a gift and although it is not a typical one, it has proved to be well worth the money.

I loved this thing at first, then one day it stopped working and developed a black bubble where the wire enters the seat. Since it was only 3 months old it was still under warranty i contacted the company about a replacement, they told me one would ship out, never got it, i called again told same thing, never got it, 3 months passed several emails, faxes, even returned the seat with delivery confirmation, still nothing, no seat, no refund. so I'm out 91.00+ have no seat, and they have no customer service. Funny thing is their website says they strive to perfection and want to make their customers happy, what a load of crap, so enjoy it while it works, just hope you never need customer service or a replacement, because you wont get it!

I love the fit and feel of the seat. HOWEVER, the 2 units I have tried each broke within the first 12 months. The wire breaks as it inserts into the seat. The company fails to comment on the problem. Shame.

UltraTouch shipped me a product that was completely dead - right out of the box.

They wouldn't refund the shipping cost of sending me the completely dead product or my shipping to return the dead product back to them.

I was sold right away...as I always have a cold butt....super easy girl installation. I did not tell my husband as he would have thought it to be silly. So when he sat on his thronehewasvery suprised. He is a tug boat captain and often comes home soaking wet and cold. Now he looks forward to sitting on his throne.Thee best investment ever And very easy to clean, just toss in an empty dishwasher and it is good to go ...Jaye Dee Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

We loved this for about a year as it gets a bit chilly here in Minnesota. The meager 5 strands of wire connecting it broke to 2 or 3 strands, which barely heated the seat. Eventually, the last strand broke and now there is no heat to the seat. It seems frost is now present on the seat (slight exaggeration).
A watt meter initially showed a constant 12 watts when working properly. Eventually it dropped to about 3 watts consistent with a strand or 2 providing power to seat; I checked the wattage at this point because it barely provided any heat at all.
The design is nice, but it is GUARANTEED to break at the point it connects to seat... unless you never raise the seat.
If a flexible support of the wire was present at the point where wire joins the seat, there would be no minimal flexing at the weak point, and this would be a great long-lasting design. Unfortunately, I didn't realize till too late that I could have improvised a minimal "support" to prevent the complete failure of the wire.
To make matters worse (fatal flaw), the strands of wire WILL break within 1/8" of the seat, leaving absolutely NO wire to re-solder to the seat. It now usable only as a ring toss for a game of horseshoes!

I was very happy to get it but it stopped working after 2 days. Very frustrating. I cannot afford $250 for a seat but this one is just bad quality

I absolutely love it! Just as the package reads, the seat stays warmer if you keep the cover down over the seat when not it use. No more cold toilet seat for me!!

My wife requires an heated toilet seat. It worked great. Our only issue is training our guests to put the lid down.

When I first bought the seat it did have design/quality defects -- as someone else mentioned our seat developed a black bubble where the electrical connection connected to the seat. I called the company and they shipped out a new replacement seat -- I went through 4 seats before I got one that worked for more than a year. The first time they had me send the seat back so they could figure out what failed on it, but after that they just sent replacement seats. All the failures happened with the the first or second generation of the white seat, when they came out with the almond colored seat I switched to that since almond actually matches my toilet -- the almond one I haven't had any issues for over a year. Well until today when the wire ended up fraying off near the connection to the seat, and that might be partly our fault for not having enough slack in the wire.

I highly recommend the seat. It does seems they have worked out most of the bugs with their manufacture.
