You get 4 batteries and a charger that charges two at a time. The charger is pretty simple, Solid green comes on with the batteries in it (Not plugged in) Solid Amber while charging and solid green plugged in and charged. Took a couple of hours to charge my batteries the first run. Batteries have a lot of power for sure, too much for their own circuit, so if you are using them for a high drain application like most people (Flash light) then these pretty much suck. They overload the protector when fully charged and cut off. You have to drain the batteries on a low setting before you can actually use these on a high setting. (If you do not have a low setting on the device you are using then you are pretty much stuck with batteries you can not use) Look on other ultra fire reviews and you see the same problems and complaints over and over. Good news is setting off the protection circuit is better than starting a fire, with that said, if you look enough you will find ultra fire batteries and the cheap chargers that come with them that have burned or caught on fire....I venture the failure rate is higher due to poor cells and poor overload protection.

The only solution is to buy batteries with a panasonic or Sanyo cells in them. I went ahead and ponied up the money and bought good cells from Orbtronic Orbtronic Two 18650 Protected 2900mAh Li-ion Rechargeable Batteries Button Top with PCB - NEW Dual Protection Version Panasonic 2900mAh cell inside They have 3100 mAh and 3400 mAh ones also although the price ramps up pretty quickly. For my application the difference in the 2900 to 3400 is not worth paying 50% more for ~17% more power.

For the last time, Trustfire / Ultrafire does not make a 4000 mAh cell. Its probably a 2400 pulled from an old laptop battery. The highest they make is 3000 mAh.

One of the 4 batteries received was completely dead. It read zero volts on a voltmeter. After charging for about 24 hours, it still was at zero volts.

I've had these batteries for about 2 weeks now and the other reviews are true... THESE BATTERIES ARE NO GOOD! They came fully charged but after a couple of days in a flashlight that was hardly used, they drained down to half power making them useless( one of the 3 I used actually drained down to 0 Volts). They then took a full charge but did the same thing. The charger seemed to work OK but I only used it once so far but the batteries are clearly used and old. Do not buy this product. After writing this review I will attempt to complain directly to Amazon about this company, Ultrafire, but I'm not sure how to do that. This is a rip-off and I don't want to see other Amazon customers get taken.

Not even the right size. I have 2 APVs (Smok & Innokin) and these are too long for either. 1/2 of them won't hold a charge. Don't take the chance that they will ruin your devices.
